BESPOKE SHOEMAKERS
OF MAYFAIR, SINCE 1958

MADE ENTIRELY BY HAND

Every commission begins as it always has, with a personal fitting and a wooden last carved by hand, before being cut, closed, and finished in our Royal Arcade workshop using methods unchanged for over sixty years.

Overseas Visits

The George Cleverley bespoke Trunk Show process is no different from that you’d find in our London boutique. Our expert team will introduce you to many different bespoke styles & materials. We offer the largest selection of styles & materials on display at our trunk shows, leaving the client with plenty of options.

Our Master shoemaker will take the client’s measurements and note any client peculiarities which he will then transpose into a wooden ‘last’. All of our trunk show footwear is cut in our Mayfair (London) workshop, and finished in our London workshop.

Our favourite bespoke commissions, now available to order. Each piece began life as a one-off request from a client and proved too good not to offer to everyone. Handcrafted to order in our Mayfair workshop. Choose from our curated selection or contact us to create something entirely your own.

1786 Russian Hide

In 1973, divers off England’s Plymouth Sound found the wreck of an eighteenth century brigantine that sank in 1786, on board was a cargo of reindeer hides that we still use today.
